Symptom Run Scheduling in the Background
| NOTE: whatever the Shop Floor Parameters / Scheduling Tab is set to when you place the Scheduling job in the Background will be what they are for each nightly run. So if you decide to change the Days to Schedule after you have already placed Scheduling in the Background to run nightly, you will need to delete the current active background task and re-place the Scheduling activity in the Background using the steps above. |

Steps to set up the Scheduling Activity in the Background Queue:1. Open the Scheduling Form
2. Review the Start Date and End Date to see if they are the Scheduling Horizon you desire. Adjust accordingly.
3. Select "Increment Date". This has the impact of moving the scheduling horizon each time that Scheduling is run in the background.
4. Select Actions, Background. This opens the Background Queue Form.
5. Select the desired Frequency and Time of Day to run. You should consider other processes that might interfere and the timing of them.
6. Hit Ok.
