Goal : How does the Get ATP or Get CTP process work?
Version = Syteline7.XX.XX
Module : SLAPS
Fact 1 : Get ATP
Fact 2 : Get CTP
Symptom : Projected date is after Due Date when I said No to the Get ATP dialogue.
Fix
The
Get ATP or Get CTP functionality helps customer service and others to set realistic
customer expectations. When you hit
either the Get ATP or Get CTP button, you are testing the viability of a
transaction and the requested availability date for the transaction against the
current state of your MRP or APS plan.
As an input to the dialogue you populate the Due Date as the requested
availability date to test and then hit Get ATP or Get CTP button. A dialogue box returns stating what the
realistic 'projected availabilty' date is.
If the projected availability date is after the requested availability
date, then a red 'X' appears in the dialogue.
If the projectected availability is equal to or eariler than the requested
availability, then a green check mark appears in the dialogue.
By
accepting the projected availability date, the projected availability date
becomes the CO Line 'Due Date' and the requested availability date is
automatically populated in the CO Line "Request Date" field. By rejecting the projected availability date,
the requested availability date is set in both the Due Date and Request Date
field. In either case, the
"projected availabiity" will remain the same.
